Math tutor

Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

 

  • Develop and deliver engaging lessons for IB/IGCSE courses.

  • Evaluate student performance and provide constructive feedback.

  • Maintain accurate records of student progress and attendance.

  • Participate in curriculum development and team meetings for student management system enhancements.

  • Create online videos

  • Manage student interactions outside of class, including answering WhatsApp messages and addressing queries.

Qualifications:

 

  • Bachelor’s degree in education, or a related field.

  • Minimum 5 years of teaching experience in IB/IGCSE.

  • Must be a citizen or permanent resident

  • Ability to create your own syllabi and relative material. 

  • Proficiency in English.

Probation Period:

  • 3 months

Interview Process:

  • Initial screening call or Zoom meeting may precede the interview.

  • On-site interviews typically last 1hour including 5-10 mins of sample lesson towards the end

  • A second round of interviews may be required in some cases.

  • Questions will focus on your teaching experience and personal qualities.
